1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or identifiers that may be stored on or read from a user’s device when visiting a website. They may be used, among other purposes, to enable technical functions, remember preferences, measure website usage or integrate third-party services.
2. Legislation and consent
The use of cookies is governed, among other rules, by Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and, where personal data is processed, by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD.
Strictly necessary cookies used to enable communications or provide a service expressly requested may be used without consent where legal requirements are met. Other cookies or tracking technologies requiring consent must only be activated after the user has taken a valid affirmative action.
3. Cookie categories
- Technical or necessary: enable the basic operation, security and requested functions of the site.
- Preferences or personalisation: remember certain choices made by the user.
- Analytics or measurement: help us understand how the site is used and obtain statistics to improve it.
- Advertising or behavioural: allow advertising to be managed or browsing profiles to be created when these types of services are used.
4. First-party and third-party cookies
Cookies may be first-party, when managed from the Tifell domain, or third-party, when managed by external organisations whose resources or services are integrated into the website.
This website may include external resources, including maps and other technical content. In particular, certain pages may integrate Google mapping services and OpenStreetMap cartographic resources. When a third-party service is loaded, that provider may receive technical information —such as IP address, browser data or identifiers— and, where applicable, use cookies in accordance with its own policy.
5. List of cookies
The specific list of cookies must at all times reflect the technologies actually active in the published version of the website. Necessary first-party technical cookies may be used without consent. Any analytics, advertising, non-exempt personalisation or third-party cookie requiring consent must remain blocked until the user accepts it.
Important: before final publication, the exact list of cookies, providers, purposes and durations must be verified through a technical review, especially after adding or modifying maps, videos, analytics, advertising or other external services.
6. Settings panel and withdrawal of consent
When the website uses non-essential cookies, users must be able to accept, reject or configure them through the cookie management panel. Accept and reject options must be presented equivalently, and consent may be withdrawn at any time as easily as it was given.
7. Browser settings
In addition to the website settings panel, browsers allow cookies to be blocked, limited or deleted through their privacy options. Deleting or blocking technical cookies may cause some website functions to become unavailable or not work correctly.
8. External services and links
Links to third-party websites —for example social networks— do not in themselves mean that Tifell controls the cookies used by those sites once the user accesses them. Each provider applies its own terms and policies.
9. Updates
Tifell may amend this Cookie Policy when the technologies used, integrated services or applicable legislation change. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
